My hands were wet and clammy, I was so nervause. On Monday are teacher had asked us to bring something to
school that is speacial to us I had know idea what to bring so I asked my mom but boy was that a mistake she
said....my babyblankie! Well I argued with mom but once she decided she stuck with it even if it was my project. I
went up stairs to my bedroom and started looking for my blankie, at age eleven I couldn't bilieve I was doing this.
Just then I heard a growl coming from under my bed I propped my self on my elbows and in the dim light I could
just make out my dog Buddy and in his mouth was blankie. I had to pry open my dogs jaws to get at it and when I
did there was a bran new rip. I shook my head in wonder at how anything could get so ugly there was a orange stain
from juice, a rip up the side blood from nose bleeds drool, dirt and the current new tear and the last faded letters of
my name. So here I am in the front of the grade five class telling them about my blankie but when I was done no
one laughed because the boy behind me had a teddy.
